While studying abroad in Russia, Australian grad student Lara Greene gets a summer job at a private zoo owned by eccentric multi-billionaire Ivan Vasilev. When she gets to the compound, she quickly finds out that the 'pet' she's been charged with caring for is unlike anything she could've ever imagined.
